Yet repeatedly, they ignored all the wisdom and talent available to them and continued to live as mere mortals. The gods soon got weary of freely giving talents and wisdom to people who neglected to use it. So about the fiscal cliff saga and the sequestration and endless budget cuts…it is unending, isn’t it? Many times I wished we’d just topple over and get it over with.  I’m not trying to relive the horror of hanging precariously at the edge waiting for some sort of resolution, but this incident and its successors were an aggressive reminder of my financial health.
